FALL ESSENTIALS 2017 | 7 Must-Have Items to Build Your Fall Wardrobe | JULIA SUH

Hey guys! It’s Julia And welcome back to my channel Fall is officially here So I thought I would round up Some warm weathered clothing And put together a Fall 2017 essentials video I live in Los Angeles And it doesn’t get as cold As many other places Around the world But even if you don’t Live in this area You can definitely still Incorporate a lot of the things I’m going to be talking about Into your fall wardrobe Before we get into it Let’s talk color and texture trends For fall 2017 Red, mustard yellow, navy, and evergreen Are colors that I’ve been seeing Trending a lot lately And texture wise Knits, wool, faux fur, and velvet Are big materials for fall as well So today I’m sharing 7 fall essentials That are classic styles That are meant to be worn Season and season again I’ve been trying to shop smarter And buying key pieces That will last me longer That I can wear for many years So I tend to buy colors That are black, white, tan, or grey Becuase those colors Are very neutral And classic colors That don’t go out of style The first essential for fall is boots You need ankle boots Over the knee boots Thigh high boots And if you live in a rainy area Then definitely rain boots These are trendy sock ankle boots From Zara that I featured in a previous video That I’ll link down below They feature an elastic sock construction And a block heel These over the knee boots Are from Target They’re by the brand DV by Dolce Vita And are more of an every day boot It has a blocked heel And made of a suede fabric I also just purchased These thigh high boots From Sam Edelman That I’m obsessed with These are definitely more nighttime boots For those dressier events Because of the pointed toe And skinny heel The second fall essential Is coats You should have a trench coat Wool coat Camel coat And a fur coat In your closet This trench coat is from Zara It’s really thin So it’s a great fall coat For LA weather I layered it over a mini dress And over the knee boots And tied it in the middle So that I could show the dress underneath This wool coat Is an everyday coat for me I got it from Arizia And I sometimes like to wear it Tied up like a dress with boots And to dress it down I throw it over a casual outfit Like jeans and a top Stores like Ann Taylor and Banana Republic Have really great coats to shop for That are mature and chic This camel coat is from Ann Taylor And is a classic wool coat That has red interior lining That gives it a little something extra I got this fur coat passed down to me From my grandma It’s a bomber fit And has leather lining inside That keeps me super warm in the cold weather Cozy sweaters are a must have for fall They’re so easy to throw on With a pair of jeans and boots And you’re ready to go I just got this sweater From Forever 21 online That I wore in my last video It has a wide neckline So you can wear it off the shoulder I got this sweater A few years back From the brand UNIF And it has longer sleeves And ripped details at the edges That is super comfy This cable knit cardigan Is from Zara And is an oversized fit I love the knitted detail throughout That makes it really unique Next up is layering pieces You always want to have basics That you can layer underneath things To keep you warm These long sleeve thermal shirts Are from Forever 21 They’re really versatile So I can wear it as is Or underneath a top For an extra layer I think that everyone Should have a leather jacket in their closet It’s an easy way To give an outfit a really edgy vibe This leather jacket is by Helmut Lang And features an asymmetrial hem Where it’s cropped and shorter in the back It has a pebbled leather texture And boxy shoulders Sweatpants and sweatshirts Are no longer just to wear at home And there’s definitely ways That you can dress it up So it doesn’t look like You just rolled out of bed Adidas is my favorite brand For sweatpants and trackpants I got these From the Melrose store in LA On sale for $30 In a Navy colorway With tonal stripes on the sides I was looking into buying Cotton Citizen brand sweatpants With the seam down the legs But didn’t want to pay Over $200 for them And I was so happy When I found these from Uniqlo For only $30 The fall season Is packed with a lot of Nighttime events Like birthdays Work holiday parties And family parties So you want to make sure You have those little black dresses And fancier dresses In your closet for those types of events This suede trench dress Is from White House Black Market And is versatile Where you can wear it as a dress Or as a vest layered over a top I got this dress From the brand Keepsake And it has a wrap design With a halter neck And a tie around the waist I also have this Faux fur stole from Zara That I like to wear to upgrade the look With all the essentials that I shared You can mix and match them To create different looks That fit your own style My goal is to help you Build your wardrobe And have the essentials That will always stay in your closets For seasons to come If you enjoyed this video Please give it a thumbs up And if you have any questions Or suggestions for me Leave me a comment down below Also, if you haven’t already
