Man Steals Watch Worth Thousands From Westside Jeweler


A man steals a watch worth more than nine-thousand
dollars from a west El Paso jewelry store. Security cameras captured the suspects and
Detectives from the El Paso Police Department are asking for your help in identifying this
thief, through the Crime Stoppers, “Crime of The Week.” On the afternoon of Friday, January 25th 2019,
at 4:16p.m., a man walked into the “Jared Vault” located at 7051 S. Desert Boulevard,
at the “Outlet Shoppes At El Paso.” The man asked to see various rings then asked
to see a “Rolex” brand watch valued at $9,100.00 dollars. The man began taking pictures of the watch
while holding it and then ran out of the store with the watch. The suspect was seeing fleeing the scene in
a new model maroon Ford F-150 pickup truck with Texas license plates. The suspect is described as Hispanic male,
in his 20’s wearing a grey baseball cap, a black hooded jacket, black sweatpants and
Jordan style athletic shoes. Anyone with any information on the identity
