North Texas Climbs Out Of The Cold!

MAJOR RENOVATIONS. LET’S TALK A LITTLE WEATHER NOW. JEFF REAUGH JOINS US. JUST A BEAUTIFUL AFTERNOON TODAY, AT AND HER PRETTY COLD DAYS LAST WEEK. YEAH, WE’LL TALK ABOUT THAT IN JUST A SECOND, HOW WE’RE CLIMBING OUT OF THIS COLD, BUT LET’S LOOK AT THAT BLUE SKY OVERHEAD. A POTENTIAL PROBLEM FOR SOME OF US THAT YOU DON’T SEE THERE IN THE SKYCAM, BUT IS IN THE AIR, IS A MOUNTAIN CEDAR COUNTS ARE STARTING TO CLIMB UP. THIS 85 YOU SEE HERE IS THE HIGHEST COUNT WE’VE HAD SO FAR THIS SEASON. WE HAVEN’T HAD A WHOLE LOT OF GRACE WE’VE HAD MOUNTAIN CEDAR SHOW UP, BUT WE’LL HAVE A SOUTH WIND THE NEXT FEW TWO DAYS. THE COUNTER IN AUSTIN TODAY IT WAS OVER 7,000. SO WE’LL HAVE TO KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THESE COUNTS, BECAUSE THEY COULD BE CLIMBING RATCHEDLY OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THAT WAS THAT RAIN OF YESTERDAY. NOT TOW MANY SAW IT. A QUARTER INCH AT THE DFW AIRPORT. WEDNESDAY, I HAVE A CHANCE, BUT MOST OF THIS WEEK LOOKS TO BE DRY, MOST IS OF THIS WEEK LOOKS TO BE WARM. BY THE WAY, THIS IS THE RAIN FROM YESTERDAY. IT’S NOW OVER ATLANTA. OF COURSE THEY GOT THE BIG NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. THIS IS FROM OUR SISTER STATION IN ATLANTA WHERE IT’S 40 DEGREES, AND HAS BEEN RAINING ALL DAY. EVEN HAD SOME FREEZING RAIN THIS MORNING, BUT JUST LIGHT RAIN HERE ACROSS THE EVENING HOURS. OF COURSE THE GAME IS INDOORS ON THAT BEAUTIFUL NEW STADIUM. LET’S TALK ABOUT HERE THE FUTURE SKY FORECAST ACROSS THE EVENING, TEMPERATURES WILL BE FALLING GONE DOWN TO THE 40s. TOMORROW MORNING, THERE MIGHT SOMEBODY FOG AROUND IN OUR EASTERN COUNTIES. MOST OF THE LOCATIONS WILL JUST HAVE THAT WIND OUT OF THE SOUTHEAST, AND TEMPERATURES MILD, AND WE’LL GET SOME SUNSHINE RATHER QUICKLY IN THE AFTERNOON AND GET UP INTO THE 60s FOR THE 5th DAY IN A ROW. YOU SEE THE CLOUD COVER BUILDING BACK IN FROM THE EAST ON WEDNESDAY MORNING. BUT LOOK HOW WARM IT IS WEDNESDAY MORNING. IN THE 50s. WE HAVE A SOUTH WIND, AND WITH THAT WIND AND THE DRY AIR, WE’LL HAVE WINS OUT OF THE SOUTHWEST, 15 TO 25 MILES PER HOUR. SO EVERYWHERE OUT IN THE WESTERN COUNTIES, WE’LL HAVE TO BE AWARE OF THE FIRE DAMAGE THAT WILL BRING. TEMPERATURES UPPER OVECHKIN, BUT HERE COME — 60s, BUT HERE COME THE RAIN CHANCES. THIS WILL BE OFF TO THE EAST ON WEDNESDAY MORNING. JOIN THE DRY AIR IN BEHIND IT. WE’LL GET CLIPPED BY THIS SYSTEM UP TO THE NORTH. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP THROUGH THE DAY ON THURSDAY, UPPER 40s. UP TO THE NORTH, WE’LL SEE SOME SNOW AND SLEET, BUT IT WILL BE WELL UP INTO OKAY SPOCK THE PANHANDLE OF TEXAS. WE MIGHT SEE A FEW FLURRIES, BUT MOST OF THESE FOR OUR AREA WILL BE ALONG THE RED RIVER, AND JUST THAT. MOSTLY JUST SOMETHING YOU MIGHT SEE IN THE AIR. IN THE 50s ON FRIDAY.
